Sun beds are on offer for hire. Many restaurants, cafes, shops and well-known food chains line up parallel to the beach. Venues are common on the main promenade on Finikoudes beach. Regular pleasure boat trips can be taken from the marina which is located at the start of the promenade.

Its central position and clear water ensure that the beach remains very popular among local residents and travelers. Find many restaurants and cafés surrounding the beach.

Relax on a sun lounge or plastic chair with a book and take advantage of the hot Mediterranean summer. The beach is pleasant year-round, with warm weather continuing into the winter. Enhance your tan while the kids play in the sand. Swim in the sea, which remains quite cool and refreshing all the time. Swimming here is safe for children, as the water remains shallow at a fair distance from the beach.

Finikoudes Beach is slightly east of the city’s historic center. It is shaped like a triangle, with a far wider northern base leading to a thin strip at its southern point. Visit the landmarks surrounding the beach, such as Europe Square and the Church of Lazarus. Take a bus to one of the stops along the Athenon promenade.
